- Do my photos ever leave my phone?
- No. All size measurement, sorting, and duplicate detection happens entirely on your device. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
- I deleted photos by accident — can I get them back?
- Yes. MediaSweep always uses iOS's own delete confirmation, and deleted items go to the Photos app's Recently Deleted album, where they're recoverable for 30 days.
- What does Premium unlock?
- Unlimited selection and Swipe Clean, the full Duplicate Finder (including Clean All), iCloud size lookups, and an ad-free experience — for a single one-time payment, never a subscription.
- I bought Premium but it's not showing as unlocked.
- Open the app's Account tab and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID's purchase history and re-unlocks Premium if a valid purchase is found. If it still doesn't work, email us with the Apple ID email you purchased with.
- Why does Duplicate Finder take a while on a large library?
- MediaSweep compares every photo to find byte-identical copies, which takes longer on larger libraries. It's a one-time cost — the app remembers what it's already checked, so future scans are much faster.
- Does MediaSweep require an account?
- No. There's no sign-up, login, or account of any kind.
- How do I request my data be deleted?
- Email us and we'll remove the anonymous purchase record described in our Privacy Policy.
